Magnet Alignment

Wingdat-

At one point, you mentioned that getting the rotors to separate was difficult due to the attraction.
In your design, with dual rotors, are the magnets placed exactly opposite from each other (mirror image) and be aligned with the same polarity? If so, wouldn't there be a repulsion?

Hi Robert. If the magnets are aligned to attract, this maximises the magnet flux between them. If they are set to repulse, the flux lines push against each other, and much less, or no current would be generated.

I drilled and tapped three 8mm holes into the outer (front) rotor recently, and now use three long 8mm bolts to control the rotors during assembly/disassembly.
