Ever thought of building your own solar panels? We read on many web pages about how to build it. I found a company in the
States that would supply solar cells loose for diy construction. These units are as follows: watts at 1.75, amps at 3.4, volts at 0.5. The thickness is 200 microns and size is 80mm by 150mm. These cells come with pre tab buss wiring so no solder required just the slight heat of a soldering iron to attach cells together. You go the your local glass outlet and buy two 3mm sheets off glass and place cells between glass. You then buy alu channel, 8mm inside, and fill with grey sealant that gets used on roofs slide the alu channels over glass on all four sides and wait to set and there you have your own home made solar panel. The size can be your own choice depending on your requirements. So now you all know it's that easy.
