I looked at the stator pictures but do not understand how the coils are held away from the bottom
of the mould in order to pour resin .I see the small container pouring into the centre of the coil.
What "resin" shall I ask for at the hardware shop?

The coils sit directly on the mould. After casting, I paint a layer of epoxy on the coils to protect them. The epoxy I use is specifically for casting coils, and the local brand name is Versamid.
