Winding the coils and making the stator

Purchasing W/E parts

Hi Windgat,
I have been surfing your website and find it very informative, it is great to see such pioneering spirit.
This site got me fired up and I want to build my own wind generator! Do you have a shop/workshop to buy some of the
components (in Cape Town) as I reside in the northern suburbs. I will need some magnets and coil wire for starters.
I have my own workshop and I can manufacture all the hardware, The electrics is another story.
Nice website

Hi Luan. Thats great!

I do make parts on request, and have also found good sources for magnets and the steel plates for the rotors.

Look under Kits on the menu at the top of the home page. Please confirm pricing before finalising an order, as some prices may have changed recently.

Do you know about the course starting Tuesday? You can find details in the email archive (also a link on the home page).

Good luck with your project, and keep up the enthusiasm!
